HISTORY
"well, my childhood wasn't all that perfect. we could barely afford a place to live, so my parents were constantly working and we really didn't have much. me and my brother just had each other until things really started working out when i was ten. he was 8, i think. that was when my dad's job really picked up and he got a huge promotion and was making enough so we could keep a house. so things were great from then, we had somewhere to live and me and my brother could really be kids. we both did well enough in school, working on our separate things outside of school and all. from a young age i'd be pretty interested in drawing, and it was the cheapest form of entertainment. i showed potential. i kept up with it, my teacher always praising me for my good artwork in class. i'd always been pretty interested in music too, and when we were learning about instruments in music class, i just couldn't be pulled away. i loved playing the piano, it sounded so beautiful. i liked the guitar too, but i could only ever get down a few chords. the piano came easily enough to me. by ear. notes were hard to learn. i still sometimes get them mixed up. but anyway, i was a good student and all was well. i heard about this school, and i knew i had to go. i begged my parents until they finally let me, and freshman year i started. i loved it. i still do. the people were great, the classes were great, it was all just too perfect. then, like teenagers do, i started going to parties every once in a while. it soon became more often than that, and i began drinking more and more. and well, now i'm at the point where it's really hard to stop. i still do well at school, but once i'm drunk, it's a disaster. i tend to sleep around and it's kind of awful. i want to stop, but i can't.""
